Lynx Gymnastics Centre was founded on March 1st, 1986, by Barbara, Brian, and Chris Adams with a mission to provide high-quality gymnastics opportunities for children across Aylesbury Vale and the wider Buckinghamshire community. As Aylesbury’s only purpose-built gymnastics facility, the club now proudly supports over 1,000 members, ranging from pre-schoolers and school-aged children to competitive gymnasts.
Lynx has grown into one of the UK’s leading gymnastics centres managed by Niki Adams, with decades of experience and a reputation for excellence in both coaching and facilities.
We offer a wide range of classes, including pre-school, school-age recreational gymnastics, competitive squads, Baby Gym, and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) classes—supporting children of all abilities in a safe, inclusive environment.
Our birthday parties are also a huge hit on weekends, often selling out well in advance thanks to their popularity and fun, engaging format.
Our athletes have achieved outstanding success on the world stage, including World, Commonwealth, and European titles. Two of our gymnasts have proudly represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games—both winning bronze medals. One was also honoured as BBC Sports Personality of the Year, a truly remarkable achievement.
Our coaching team has received national recognition as well, with several winning Olympic Coach of the Year awards for their dedication and expertise.
Parents and families are always welcome at Lynx, our facility includes a spacious viewing gallery and an on-site café, offering a comfortable and social atmosphere while children train.
At Lynx Gymnastics Centre, we’re committed to providing warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for all.
